Deledao has been named WINNER of the 2026 EdTech Award for Networking, Information Technology (IT), Connectivity, or Access Solution, acknowledging the company’s role in helping schools provide safe, dependable access to digital learning tools without sacrificing student focus.
In addition to this first‑place win, Deledao was also recognized as a FINALIST in two additional categories:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solution
Student Data Privacy Solution

Solving the needs of today's classrooms
Digital learning is no longer confined to a single device or location. In today’s classrooms, students move fluidly across cloud platforms, streaming media, and web‑based tools all within the same lesson.
For educators, that flexibility creates opportunity, but it also introduces a new challenge: keeping learning focused in an always‑connected environment.
Together, these honors reflect Deledao’s continued commitment to helping schools balance access, safety, and engagement in modern K12 learning environments.
Deledao’s 2026 EdTech Awards recognition
The EdTech Awards, presented annually by EdTech Digest, recognize organizations that are shaping the future of education technology across K12, higher education, and workforce learning.
WINNER
Networking / IT / Connectivity / Access Solution
Deledao’s 2026 win highlights its leadership in one of the most foundational areas of digital learning: access. As instruction increasingly spans devices, locations, and learning models, schools need more than basic internet connectivity.
They need access that supports instruction and adapts as online content changes.
Deledao ActiveScan™ helps schools deliver that balance by ensuring students stay connected to meaningful learning resources while limiting exposure to harmful, distracting, or off‑task content, even as new websites, apps, and bypass tools appear daily.
FINALIST
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solution
Deledao was also named a finalist for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solution, recognizing its patented real‑time AI that evaluates content as students encounter it.
Rather than relying on static rules or delayed responses, Deledao’s AI adapts in real time, reducing disruption while keeping learning moving forward.
Features such as Redirected Browsing reflect this approach, guiding students back to appropriate content instead of stopping instruction altogether.
FINALIST
Student Data Privacy Solution
Strong digital access must be paired with strong protections. Deledao’s recognition as a Student Data Privacy Solution finalist reflects its long‑standing focus on privacy‑first design, limited data collection, and responsible use of AI in K12 environments.
By embedding privacy protections directly into its platform, Deledao helps schools meet compliance requirements while maintaining a positive experience for teachers and students alike.
A multi‑Year record of EdTech awards recognition
The 2026 EdTech Award builds on a consistent history of industry recognition that spans more than half a decade.
2020: First EdTech award win
Deledao’s first EdTech Awards recognition came in 2020, when the company was named Winner in the Student Data Privacy Solution category.
At a time when districts were rapidly expanding online instruction, the award acknowledged Deledao’s early leadership in protecting student data while enabling digital learning.
That same year, Deledao was also named a finalist in:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solution
Networking / IT / Connectivity Solution
Parent / Student Solution
2021–2023: Continued recognition for AI‑driven learning
From 2021 through 2023, Deledao was repeatedly recognized as an EdTech Awards finalist for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solution.
These consecutive acknowledgments reflected growing demand for real‑time approaches to filtering and classroom management, beyond traditional blocklists.
2024–2025: Recognition across AI, access, and privacy
In both 2024 and 2025, Deledao was named a finalist in three core EdTech Awards categories:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solution
Networking / IT / Connectivity or Access Solution
Student Data Privacy Solution
These recognitions marked Deledao’s fifth and sixth consecutive years as an EdTech Awards honoree, reinforcing its role as a reliable partner for schools navigating increasingly complex digital environments.
Award‑winning for access and safety
This win highlights how the platform helps schools provide consistent access to online learning resources while reducing exposure to harmful or distracting content, no matter how fast the online landscape evolves.
When access, safety, and focus work together, students are more likely to stay engaged, participate fully, and develop healthier digital habits that extend beyond the school day. That balanced environment is what Deledao is designed to support.
With classroom activity across the country continuing to shift online, effective classroom management depends on digital access that is flexible. Overly restrictive settings can interrupt instruction, while open‑ended policies create space for distraction.
Deledao’s award‑winning platform addresses this challenge by interpreting online content as it appears, allowing access that supports learning instead of getting in the way.
Teachers experience fewer lesson disruptions and spend less time addressing unnecessary blocks, while students remain focused through consistent access to approved resources.
When access works the way it should, classrooms feel calmer and instructional time is protected.
“AI, social media, and constant digital interruptions compete for students' attention every day...This award reaffirms our belief that technology should simplify instruction, not complicate it. Our goal is to help students and teachers stay connected to what matters most.” Shuang Ji, CEO of Deledao, 2026
Keeping humans at the heart of digital learning
Behind every filter setting or network rule is a teacher trying to teach and a student trying to learn. Deledao’s mission is to simplify that relationship.
We will keep developing solutions that allow educators to focus on teaching and help students stay engaged in their learning.
About Deledao
In 2017, a group of Silicon Valley veterans noticed that their children were growing up in an increasingly tech-oriented environment. Schools were using Chromebooks, iPads, and digital resources like YouTube, with homework done online. At that point, digital distractions were already a challenge.
Our CEO, Shuang Ji, co-inventor of proxy filtering technology, saw that 1990s technologies used then were inadequate for online safety. This led to the creation of Deledao.
In 2019, Deledao launched a web filter using patented real-time AI and expanded to include student safety and classroom management solutions for K-12 success.
Today, Deledao supports educational institutions worldwide, including in the US, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan and more.
