How to Upgrade Your School Account to Use Deledao Family for Personal Devices
If you don't have a Deledao account and have an email invitation from the school, go to Step 1.
If you already have a Deledao account to access the Parent Portal, go to Step 2.
Step 1: Click on the link provided in the email. Click 'Take a look now.'
If you already have an account, skip to Step 2.
Step 2: In the Parent Portal, upgrade your account to use Deledao Family.
a) If you see the pop-up below, click on 'Start my free trial now' and fill in your name.
b) If you don't see the pop-up in the Parent Portal, click on the 'Account' tab and go to 'Subscription' in the menu on the left. Fill in your name to start the account upgrade.
c) If you don't see either option (2a) or (2b), skip to Step 7.
Step 3: Click on the link provided to link the devices together. Then give the child profile a name and create a password for that child to access internet.
Step 4: Click 'Start my trial now.'
Step 5: Follow the directions to download the Deledao Junior browser (formerly called the Deledao Family browser) on your child's device and click ok. Your child can now use the password created in Step 3 to browse the web using Deledao Junior.
Step 6: On your own device, check to see that the link is made by clicking on the child's name at the top right corner.
If nothing is wrong, you are done linking school and home devices at Step 6.
Below is for if Step (2a) or (2b) did not apply to your situation.
Step 7: Click on 'Account.'
Step 8: Click on 'Manage Users' on the right and click 'Add User.'
Step 9: Enter child's name and create a password for that child to access the internet.
Congratulations! Your Parent Portal is now connected to both your school and home accounts. If you haven’t already, continue the Deledao Family setup with these app downloads.
Please keep in mind that your access to see data that's generated on school-issued devices is dependent on your school's subscription to Deledao's services and their choice to give parents access.
